CAUTION: fruit to be eaten on empty stomachs only.

Do not eat fruits with your meals, or after! Fruits should always be eaten on an empty stomach, only! If you just follow that simple rule, fruit will play a major role in detoxifying your body, and supplying you with all the energy for life’s activities.

1280px-Culinary_fruits_front_viewOf all the food groups, fruit is the most important of all. And here’s why. Let’s say you eat a sandwich for lunch, and then a slice of fruit. The fruit would normally go straight through the stomach into the intestines where it is absorbed and becomes nutrition– but the sandwich prevents it from doing so.

The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire meal rots, ferments and turns to acid—with very little nutrition resulting from that mass of rotten food.

You’ve heard people complain: “I can’t eat watermelon without burping,” or “I blow up like a balloon, when I eat a banana,” or “ I get the runs from that fruit.” None of these reactions will occur by eating fruit on an empty stomach.

And neither will graying hair, balding, nervous outbursts, and dark circles under the eyes—and many more bodily reactions

This little known fact, first observed by Dr. Herbert Shelton, an esteemed naturopath and supporter of the nutritional value of raw foods and fasting, concluded, “If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and, normal weight.”

And, if you have to drink fruit juice – drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from cans. Don’t drink juice that has been heated, and don’t even touch cooked fruits because heating destroys almost all the nutrients.

In fact, it’s preferable not to drink fruit juice at all—when you can eat the fruit itself. However, if you should drink the juice, sip it slowly– you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

So, for your own good, follow these simple rules about eating fruits—and above all—eat your fruits ONLY on an empty stomach or in plenty of time before your meals. You’ll feel the difference and you and your friends will be amazed when they see the difference!
